What is the benifit of having HSM storgae or normal Storage?
These are some of the questions i faced during my first archetectural design when i started as PS-Image product manager at ProgressSoft www.progressoft.com. I read so many papers and articles related to the subject and the most vefarit one was paper published from HP, it talk about variation of different storages and how you can build your own storgae managment solution without any dependances on the existing storage devices and what future devices might be invented.
